Disposable respirators are subject to various regulatory standards around the world.
Health authorities often reference these standards when making respirator recommendations, stating, for example, that certain populations should use an “N95, FFP2, or equivalent” respirator.
The KN95 standard is the Asian equivalent standard to:
- Australia’s P2 standard,
- USA’s N95 Niosh standard, and the
- UK’s FFP2 standard.
Respirators certified as meeting any of these standards can be expected to function very similarly to one another.
You are buying certified KN95 Filters. Similar to Western standards, the KN95 specifies that respirators filter performance is ≥ 95%.
**Disclaimer: The elderly, pregnant women and those with severe lung or heart problems who have difficulty breathing at rest or on exertion should consult their doctor as to whether they should use the AIR FILTER mask.
